Alibarbar Ingot 9000 Review: 9,000 Puffs and Not a Charging Cable in Sight
When the first box of Ingot 9000 units arrived at our warehouse, one of our staff picked one up, turned it over a few times, and asked where the charging port was. The answer: there is no port, and there never will be. That is the main idea behind this device, and after a few weeks of selling it and using it daily, we think it works. Here is our review.
No charging, and that is the whole idea
The Ingot 9000 has a 2350mAh battery built in at the factory, and it is a proper branded cell, the same type used in good torches and power banks. It arrives fully charged, and the capacity is matched to the 22ml of e-liquid inside. In plain terms: the battery is designed to outlast the liquid. You use the device until it is empty, then recycle it and open a new one. There is no cable to lose and nothing to remember.
It also keeps its charge for a long time. Units that sat in our storage for months still hit at full power. The official standby figure is six months, and our own stock supports that. If you like keeping a spare at home or in the car, this one will be ready whenever you reach for it.
The LED screen is genuinely useful
A sealed disposable with a screen sounds strange, but it works well. The display on the front shows the battery level and the liquid level in real time, so you always know how much is left. No guessing, and no surprises.
The flavour does not fade near the end
Cheap disposables usually taste great at the start and then get weak after the first third. The 1.2 ohm mesh coil in the Ingot 9000 runs on a steady power curve, so the taste stays close to the same from the first puff to the last. We finished a Blackberry Ice and a Pink Lemon during testing, and both still tasted right with about 20% of the liquid left. You may notice a small drop in the final part, but it is nothing like the weak, burnt finish you get on budget devices.

Who should skip it
To be fair, this device is not for everyone. It does not recharge, so when it is done, it is done. It also weighs 91 grams in a curved metal body, which feels solid in the hand but is not the smallest option out there. If you want something tiny and feather-light, pick a slimmer model.
